A 13 foot, traditional skin-on-frame canoe, built from steam-bent ash, mahogany and other hardwoods. The connections are hand-lashed with a synthetic sinew thread. A nylon fabric is stretched over the frame and waterproofed as a minimal outer layer, allowing the inner structure to remain visible. The canoe was handmade at a workshop with the Yestermorrow Design/Build School in Waitsfield, VT.
